fucking rant - Monday, Oct. 11, 2004
Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003 | 1:38 PM

here is what i learned this weekend!

apparently it's human nature to react to certain news in a way that's not healthy...yea, that's not true. although i heard this from two okay sources, i'm still not convinced, things change, they always will, i can't and will not spend my time trying to make sure i'm in control...

somethings just have to be.

decision #1

listening to objectification and words like "mushroom bruise" is not my idea of a good time and it puts me in a state of mind that i literally have to work out of until i can speak like a normal woman. (i said human being, but i really mean woman, cause that's what i am)

next time, i reserve the right to tell whoever to leave my house....as i've been told standing up for myself is not always my strong suit in these situations, but it's just not funny to me anymore.

decision #2

if i need to cry, i should just fucking cry. but in a safe place, preferably with damien around.

decision #3

i fucking love my house. and everyone attached to it. it makes me think where have i been all these years...like I AM finally waking up.

decision #4

party invites that involve a 15 minute hike up with a candlelit trail, only to end under a huge rock in the sky, with drums, guitars, a fire, plenty to drink and good friends should never be missed. ever.

this ain't no berea field party now either...

decision #5

regardless of drama, love your friends and let them know it. be honest with what you say and whatever the outcome, it will be respected. honesty is difficult for everyone. and i'm talking about total and complete, all day, everyday honesty. but in order to get on with life, it has to be done.

it's sunday. time for homework and less cigarettes, yea, i need to slow down a little on the tobacco products, i'm waking up scratchy...

my legs are all cut up to hell from the walk down last night, some of the candles went out and we had a hard time finding the trail at 3am....thank God for the moon.

didn't get home till 5 last night, and sleeping till 1pm is something i don't do very often, but, it was worth it...
